How to Promotion of local products
- Sign in to your Google ads account
- Put the settings and billing icon in the upper right corner of your account.
- Under more tools, click business data.
- Click the blue Plus button and select local product feed.
- Once you've created your local product feed
- You can use the columns in the CSV template provided in the article below.
To format your product data in your own spreadsheet, be sure to use the exact column names from the template.
Keep in mind;
After you finished formatting your spreadsheet, you'll then name your product feed and upload your data.
- Use a short name without any spaces.
- Google ads can only recognize new names
- So be sure not to reuse the name of an old data set or feed that you've removed.
- Once you upload your data, click apply.
- You can see the data you've uploaded by clicking tools and settings, then set up, and then business data.
Your data will appear when you click data feeds.
Add Local Product feed to a new or Existing Campaign
If you're adding your feed to an existing campaign, use these steps, Sign in to your Google ads account
- Go to campaigns and open an existing local campaign.
- Click settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of your settings and click additional settings.
- Click the product feed section to expand it.
- Check the box that indicates the use of a product feed for this campaign.
- Click Google ads local product feed as the feed source.
- Select the relevant product feed from the drop-down menu to feed.
- Needs to have been previously uploaded to the Google ads account.
If you're creating a new local campaign, take the following steps.
- Sign in to your Google ads account.
- Follow the instructions to create a local campaign.
- Once selecting your local campaign settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and click additional settings.
- Then follow the remaining steps as above.
If you are located in the EU or Switzerland, you can't use local product feeds for items sold by weight or volume, such as food products or certain cosmetics.
If you're located in the EU or Switzerland, you can't use products that need energy-efficient categorization.
